Please note that there may be additional closures added throughout the year as part of staff training on the new Primary Curriculum Framework. Parents/guardians will always receive reminders of such closures in advance.

Scheduled closures for staff in-services (2026-2027):

Tuesday, 13th October 2026 – school closure day for staff professional training with Oide (subject: Wellbeing)

Wednesday, 12th May 2027 – school closure day for staff professional training with Oide (subject: Wellbeing)

Thursday, 3rd June 2027 – school closure day for staff professional training with Oide (subject: Language Awareness)

Contingency arrangements for making up for lost time

In line with Circular 0018/2026 the school’s calendar may be subject to change as part of contingency arrangements to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures. In this event, the school will provide adequate notice of any changes to the school calendar to pupils, parents/guardians and staff.
