We also had a visit from Fionnuala Britton, European Cross Country Gold Medal winner from Kilcoole on Friday Jan 26th.
Fionnuala and her old club coach John O' Toole came to show her gold medal to the junior classes. She also met the 6th classes and all the athletes in the school for a questions and answers session. Children from Ms. Mullooly's class made a comic strip for Fionnuala of her journey from Kilcoole AC to European champion and also a felted bracelet with her name on it. She loved them both. Ms. Hodnett's class were in the hall when she visited them so she gave them a race!!
